Company History
Central Queensland Petroleum (CQP) is an independently owned Caltex Franchise Distributor. The business began operations in 1997 when a group of people with vast experience in fuel retailing and distribution purchased the business from Caltex Australia Pty Ltd. Since then the business has continued to grow and in November 2005 Nambour Petroleum Services (NPS) was added to the network after the business was purchased from a local Sunshine Coast based family.
Queensland Fuel Group incorporates CQP & NPS and our core business is the supply of quality petroleum products to the commercial, retail, earthmoving and transport sectors in addition to servicing the public with our network of 21 service station/convenience stores.
Continued growth and increasing our network and service is part of our business plan and the new unmanned sites at Gracemere (2009) and Coolum Beach (2010) confirm this commitment.
